It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of Mr. Wladimir Oliveria, the late Commissioner of Cosmopolitan Soccer League.

Mr. Oliveria was found deceased in his apartment in Silver Spring in the early afternoon of September 28th, 2014 by Montgomery County Police after a neighbor raised an alarm.

As you are all aware, Mr. Oliveria will be remembered for his love of the game of football or soccer as commonly referred to, here in the United States

Mr. Oliveria has been the Commissioner of the Cosmopolitan Soccer League of Maryland based in Montgomery County for 38 years. The League has been in existence since 1976 and has long been affiliated with the Maryland State Soccer Association.

On behalf OF MALAWI FC i would like to Pass my condolences and we all know his in a better place now in heaven, Wladimir was always commited to improving the league and our team was fortunate enough to witness this first hand and he will trully be missed, we will continue and dedicate this coming season to his sprit

Malawi met Liverpool in the repeat of 2013 CSL final which malawi won 2-1 after extra time.Liverpool came in with a change of formation hoping for the win,Liverpool started brightly of the two teams but could not take advantage,Malawi took cgarge of the game and captain charles mankhusu capitalized on a defensive error and put malawi ahead before half time,Malawi started the second half brightly as charles delivered a perfect free kick which armah Kamara nodded home beautifully to make it 2-0 , 6 minutes later it was 3 as charles took on 3 defenders with a messy run to make it 3.Nealson Adjiri added a fourth soon after replacing charles in the midst of the celebration liverpool felt cheated and walked out of the field with 5 minutes to play.The officials let the clock run until the 90th minute giving malawi there second CSL trophy in in 3 seasons. CONGRATULATIONS BOYS ON A GREAT SEASON!!!!

Malawi advanced to there third succesive CSL finals winning one and losing one,Becoming the only team to ever make in 3 consective finals.the team thrashed aguirales 7-0 goals by limbani(3)nelson,charles,mauro and dennis were enough to send the team into the finals were they will play liverpool a team they beat 2 seasons ago to win the league in 2013,This years finals will be played at blair hign in silver spring maryland

Malawi came back from 2 goals down to draw against ethipoia in a game called as a lifeline a win would have moved malawi to 3rd place on the table but it wasnt to be goals from nealson adjiri and charles mankhusu were enough to get them the points.

the boys had enough chances to win the game but nothing happened as ethipia hung on for the point

The boys lost 4-0 to cameroon earlier today the team did not look like themselves and did not look like scoring the whole game the team gave the game away when cameronn pounced twice in 3 minutes to take a two nil lead before half and in the second half the left side was exposed twice as cameroon scored twice again in quick succession,the boys moved down to number 4 in the league and are 3 points behind the top four 

malawi fc take on cameroon also know as greenbelt fc,The two teams have faced each other two teams since 2012 and camerron have won on both occasions so this is the time for the boys to take revenge and take all three oints which would put them 5 points ahead of cameroon

The boys beat afgahnistan to move level on points with brazil in the diaspora league goals by charles(2) limbani(2) nelson and adewale were enough to secure a 6~2 win,with 4 games remaining malawi need to win all the there remaining games to secure a top four finish and make into the Playoffs.

Malawi lost to philly in the 2014 zim expo in atlanta when they lost by two goals to nil the team showed great character through the whole tournament especially when they battled there way to the final against zim atl while playing with 9 Men,The boys went on to win the game on penalty shootouts after sam made a brilliant save to put the team in front and it was left to kevin to slot home the decisive penalty,He stepped up and sent the team to the finals,dennis walked away with the golden boot after leaing the scoring chats.

Malawi fc topped the csl league and cemented there top spot before the playoffs resume in july the team has gone the whole season unbeaten and they look like a team ready to make it to the finals for the third season in a row

Malawi opened there new diaspora campaign with a convincing 3~1 win over botswana at heurich stadium in Pg, goals from adewale,denis and bwalya were enough for the team to claim all three points,the team looked much more organised in the second half,next stop is the game vs brazil on saturday

Malawi beat aguirales at nike missile park by 3 goals to 1 it was a good game and malawi had control of the game the whole 90 minutes and did not look threteaned goal by charles malabo and an own goal gave malawi a comfortable win to take all three points,

Mubeen Hamdani is one of the most promising talents in the squad the youngster joined the team last year and his impressed in the squad everytime he has been played he scored on his debut last year in a 6-0 win over aguirales and has been struggling this year with an ankle injury but will be available for selection this sunday against aguirales
